Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect information when you use this website or contact us through it.
Effective October 1, 2026
Down To Earth Electric (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what this website collects and how we use it. We are a licensed electrical contractor based in The Colony, Texas, operating under Texas Electrical Contractor License TECL 31119.
Information you give us
Contact and estimate forms ask for information you choose to provide. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, phone number, the service you are asking about, a project address, and your message. We also record the page address you submitted from so we know which service you were looking at.
We use that information to reply to your request, schedule work, and prepare an estimate. Before a form is accepted, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that it was submitted by a person. The message is then delivered to us by email through EmailJS. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit. Those tools can store cookies. Analytics cookies stay off until you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Decline leaves them off. You can change that choice anytime with Cookie Preferences in the footer.
The choice itself is saved in your browser’s local storage on this device. It is not sent to us as a form submission. If you clear site data, the banner will ask again.
Information sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you, such as website hosting, email delivery, Cloudflare for spam checks, and — if you accept cookies — Google analytics. Those providers process information under their own terms. Links on this site may go to other websites, and those sites have their own privacy practices.
Security and retention
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. No method of sending or storing information on the internet is completely secure. We keep information for as long as we need it to respond to you, keep business records, and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to applicable law and ordinary recordkeeping. Contact us using the details below. To change analytics cookies, use Cookie Preferences in the footer.
Changes
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
